To provide EdUHK students an opportunity to develop and experience innovative and entrepreneurial spirits through hands-on practice, the new Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education Unit of EdUHK Library will launch its first Student Fair in January 2019. EdUHK students will have a chance to run their own business and to learn from experts in the industries. The Bazaar will also serve as a platform for the University to connect with our Tai Po neighborhood, and to raise public social caring awareness through the participation of NGOs and social enterprises.

Details of Event: Date: 25 & 26 January 2019 (Friday & Saturday)
Time: 11 am to 6 pm
Location: Heritage Walk & Central Plaza, The Education University of Hong Kong
Scale: Around 40 to 50 stalls will be stationed, including over 30 stalls run by EdUHK students, and the rest run by schools, NGOs, social enterprises and commercial companies.

– Handmade crafts, bags, cosmetics, snacks, flower tea, fashion accessories, clothes, stationery, STEM equipment, Lunar New Year decorating materials, etc.
– Face and hand painting, and DIY workshops

Children playground (such as bouncy castles and game booths for children)

 Chances to experience AR and VR in education

Visiting EdUHK Library’s state-of-the-art facilities and Hong Kong Museum of Education’s interesting exhibition

Transportation: Free shuttle buses will be provided at around 20-min intervals at Tai Po Centre and at an hour intervals at the MTR University Station, so that residents from Tai Po and other areas can travel easily to EdUHK Campus.
