Remote Access to Electronic Resources via EdUHK VPN Service

EdUHK staff and students can make secure connection from their home  computer  to the campus network with Virtual Private Network (VPN).  After successfully install and login to the EdUHK VPN, users should be able to access the articles via Library iSearch. In addition, Most of the library online resources can be directly access as if you are searching on campus without asking to login again.

Remote Access to Electronic Resources via Non-EdUHK Network

Library’s remote access allows authorized Library users to access our electronic resources, which is restricted for use by the University community, via non-EdUHK ISPs. Users will be prompted to enter their EdUHK Network user names and passwords when they select the databases on the Library webpage for authentication purpose.

To comply with the licence requirements of the databases, remote access is only provided to students and staff of the University. All Library External Members, e.g. self-funded non-credit bearing students, are excluded. Users are also reminded that not all electronic resources on the Library Website are available via remote access due to particular licence restrictions.
