To facilitate students preparing for their teaching practice, Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Learning Commons will be re-opened on Thursday, 16 April 2020 but seats will be reduced. Call-for-service mode under which counter services are provided upon request by phone will be implemented at both MMW Library and TKOSC Learning Commons. While self-service machines can handle most of the transactions, counter staff will continue to work in the back offices to provide onsite support whenever needed during counter service hours. Special Service Hours of MMW Library on Tai Po Campus (w.e.f. 24 March 2020) and TKOSC Learning Commons (w.e.f. 16 April 2020) are as follows:

Monday, 16 March 2020, Alumni Members and External Members holding valid “Library Borrower” or “Library Reader” cards of EdUHK Library are required to register in advance for visiting Mong Man Wai Library on Tai Po Campus on a first-come-first-served basis. Visits by other external members will not be entertained. Specific timeslots and quotas of registration will apply. Please note that Mong Man Wai Library on Tai Po Campus and Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Learning Commons will be closed from 29 January to 2 February 2020 due to the latest development of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation.
To prevent mass infection, G/F and LP/F of Mong Man Wai Library have also been closed at 9:30 am on 29 January 2020. Tentatively they will be re-opened with other floors at 8:30 am on Monday, 3 February 2020.
