Goals & purposes:
The main purpose of this output is to develop an eLearning platform for students who are studying B.Ed. (SCI) programme and PGDE (Secondary) (Science) programme for their self-directed learning.

Upon their successful participation in this eLearning package, students should be able to:
- Consider important factors when planning a chemistry lesson;
- Apply the lesson planning cycle in developing a lesson plan;
- Evaluate a chemistry lesson plan; and
- Evaluate a student-teacher’s teaching performance in his micro-teaching;
Summary:
The eLearning package provides 4 stages (Stage 1: Provide analytical framework for studying a lesson, Stage 2: Apply the lesson planning cycle in developing a lesson plan, Stage 3: Evaluate a chemistry lesson plan and Stage 4: Evaluate a student-teacher’s teaching performance in his micro-teaching), which student should be able to consider important factors when planning a chemistry lesson; apply the lesson planning cycle in developing a lesson plan; evaluate a chemistry lesson plan; and evaluate a student-teacher’s teaching performance in his micro-teaching after participation in this eLearning package.
