Goals & purposes:
Upon completion of this module, participants should be able to:
1. To cultivate a sense of professionalism by sensitizing participants' awareness of their teacher leadership roles in the classroom, school organization and community
2. To develop competence in classroom management in terms of meeting students' emotional and behavioural needs in the classroom
3. To develop participants' competence in building collaborative relationships and learning communities in education settings
4. To enhance participants' reflective capacity, analytical skills and critical understanding of pertinent issues in the teaching profession relevant to their professional practice
Summary:
Through interviews with EdUHK students, pre-service teachers and in-service teachers, this e-learning package gathers different voices to illustrate the abstract concept of teacher professionalism, and facilitate students' reflective thinking skills.
