Goals & purposes:
Upon completion of this module, participants should be able to:
1. Identify major theoretical approaches to international student mobility and globalization

2. Examine the issue of education inequality brought about by student mobility and globalization

3. Examine ethical perspectives from which global trends in education are evaluated
Summary:
This e-learning package consists of various learning activities, namely video lectures, concept checking, and a case study. The video lectures provide students with basic knowledge of international student mobility. In the case study, students have virtual conversations with Judy, an international student from Myanmar, by using a chatbot. Students are invited to advise on Judy's career decisions, thereby deepening their understanding of international students' experience, and socio-cultural issues in education in a globalized environment.
