Goals & purposes:
Upon completion of this module, participants should be able to::

(1)Describe the concepts of Individual Education Plan (IEP) under the 3-Tier Model of the Inclusive Education in Hong Kong.

(2)Identify the essential components of IEP.

(3)Demonstrate the importance and benefits of collaboration and teamwork in designing the IEP including SENCo, Class teacher, social worker and parent.

(4)Design the IEP with specific, relevant, measurable and achievable short-term goals and long-term goals.
Summary:
This e-learning package uses bite-sized video lectures and interactive learning activities to explain the key concepts and components in writing an individual educational plan for students with diverse needs. This e-learning package uses animated case studies to help students understand the process of writing an IEP.
