Upon completion of this module, participants should be able to:

2. Communicate effectively your ideas on different philosophical standings for teaching and learning
3. Reflect on individual philosophical standing (use it later as a basis for analyzing educational issues in the second part of the course)

Summary:
This e-learning package guides students in developing their understanding of the five different philosophical orientations for teaching, including Perennialism, Essentialism, Progressivism, Existentialism, and Social Reconstructionism. It adopts animations and readings to support students learning. In addition the e-learning package includes an online survey that helps students to reflect on their individual educational standing thereby serving as a basis for analyzing educational issues in the latter part of the course.
