Goals & purposes:
Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to
(1) recognize the teacher's roles in using and conducting research
(2) have a basic understanding of the research process
(3) be familiar with the major milestones in completing an academic-oriented research project (i.e. Honours Project)
(4) recognize the features of an action or practice-oriented inquiry in the Capstone Project
Summary:
This online unit introduces teachers' roles in using and conducting research. It explores the research process of the Honours Project and the practice-oriented inquiry process of the Capstone Project.
