Cultivating entrepreneurial mind-set by systematic classification
Goals & purposes:
Upon completion of this module, students will be able to:
• Create and develop entrepreneurial opportunities
• Brand entrepreneurial idea
• Evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities
• Reflective the role of being entrepreneurial leader
Summary:
The module sets an interactive platform to guide the reflective journey of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset in the course. Nine building blocks of the Canvas business model will be introduced. Four stages are designed to engage students in the entrepreneurial learning process.
i. The anticipation stage (Watching video):
Students are being informed, staying engaged, and understanding the concept of each building blocks.
ii. The exploration stage (Posting materials):
Students think and feel in the authentic context by exploring social or educational issues. The cognitive and affective realms enhance student self-awareness.
iii. The competence stage (Stating their advocacy):
Students develop a plan and take action on the specific blocks, in which they are interested. They must assure that their action balances theory and practice. Peer feedback / learning is introduced in this stage as well.
iv. The culmination stage (Presentation):
Students present their learning journey and experiment in the field. They reconceptualize the theory by reviewing the practice.
