Goals & purposes:

Summary:
It will be developed by video-taping the dialogue with CEO/Managers of sports enterprise industry/sports associations, such as On-Board, Hong Kong Rugby Union, Pure Fitness Hong Kong Ltd, Adidas Group Hong Kong Ltd, Hong Kong Triathlon Association Ltd, Sportsline Hong Kong, and so on. The major content will reflect the global context in which sports organizations operate. The mini-MOOCs including the course videos and resources will be uploaded to the Open edX platform of EdUHK for dissemination.
At most 6 episodes (1hour) will be produced in which CEO will share with students their experience on successful sports management. Through their vivid examples, the CEO will demonstrate how to run sports industry effectively, apply marketing concepts to practice creatively, and enable students to face difficult challenge with wisdom and confidence. After watching the video, students are required to answer course content-based questions in MCQ form, while the lecturer can analyze the students' performances and weakness and will address those issues/concepts in the forthcoming class.
The lecturer will conduct face-to-face lectures each lesson, while the lectures will be enriched and reinforced by authentic dialogue with CEO/Managers of sports enterprise industry/sports associations via the mini-MOOCs as well.
