ICT pedagogical designs and practices in authentic local school contexts
Goals & purposes:
Upon completion of this module, students will be able to:
• Identify and examine authentic examples of how technology is adopted to differentiate learning content and processes to cater for student diversity in the local school contexts
• To gain first-hand experience of authentic learning content and processes that are differentiated with the aid of technology;
• To reflect upon how they may harness upon technology to cater for student diversity in their own subject classrooms based on the insights they gained in this module.
Summary:
This e-learning package consists of four parts, including an exploratory design task as a lead-in, an experiential task, a video learning task, and a reflective task. This package is built with an aim to fill the gap between theory and practice in authentic classroom situations. It provides students with an opportunity to experience some technology-enhanced differentiated learning materials developed by a local school.
