Goals & purposes:
This course aims to introduce students to the use of in-text references in the APA style, helping students in writing academic papers.
During the course, students will learn what APA in-text references in academic writing. It is composed not only of the explanation and presentation of the style and format but also the activities related to academic referencing. By the end of the course, students will be able to have an understanding about the basics of using in-text references in APA style.

Summary:
This mini-MOOC will teach students to research and use sources for supporting arguments. The use of APA referencing style for making in-text references will be included.
The mini-MOOC will be opened at the beginning of the course and students are required to complete the mini-MOOC by the end of the course. Students are able to manage their time and pace in completing the mini-MOOC.

Focuses on what is in-text referencing and how to make it in the APA style.
PART 2: Incorporating in-text citations effectively
Examines the components that make an effective in-text citation.
PART 3: How to write effective evaluations for citations
Focuses on how to write effective evaluations to strengthen our argument without repeating our claim or the citation.
