21st Century Skills and Values Education
Goals & purposes:
Upon completion of this module, students will be able to:
· Demonstrate understanding and analysis of 21st century skills and its application in the workplace;
· Examine and reflect on the role of life and values education for the development of positive values, cognition and behaviours at personal and social levels; and
· Develop and defend the required professionalism and professional ethics in the workplace.
Summary:
4 interviews of stories of successful people in different fields of the interactions between the 3 big ideas of "21st century skills", "life and values education" and "professionalism and professional ethics". These interviews provide students with strong evidence of the application of 21st century skills and reflection of life and values education for one's development of professionalism and professional ethics required for professionals in different fields, students will be facilitated to engage in discussion and self-reflection on those materials for one's personal growth and development, the interaction of the 3 big ideas in particular.
