In the First Person
It is a index to English language personal narratives, including letters, diaries, memoirs, autobiographies, and oral histories. Working with archives, repositories, publishers, and individuals we’ve indexed first person narratives from hundreds of published volumes—those that are publicly available on the Web and those that are held by repositories and archives around the world. It consists of more than 3,350 collections of personal narratives in English from around the world.

The Linguist List
The aim of the list is to provide a forum where academic linguists can discuss linguistic issues and exchange linguistic information. Eastern Michigan University was established as the main editing site for the list in 1991 and Wayne State University in Michigan as the second site in 1998 respectively.

MIT Libraries : Literature Resources
A collection of Internet resources about English and American literatures.
Started in 1996; is the award-winning website of the Academy of American Poets. It provides hundreds of essays and interviews about poetry, biographies of more than 500 poets, almost 2000 poems, and audio clips of 150 poems read by their authors or other poets. Representative Poetry On-line
Created and maintained by Professor Ian Lancashire from University of Toronto, Representative Poetry Online includes approximately 3100 hundred poems in “Representative Poetry” first published in 912. Visitors can view a complete index of all the poems included on the site, or take a look at the poems arranged chronologically. Equally delightful is the glossary of terms, which provides insights about dozens of terms, such as adonic, gnomic verse, and iambic trimester.
