Update on Campus Access Arrangements for Alumni Members and External Members (25/11/2022)
Effective 28/11/2022, Alumni Members and External Members holding valid “Library Borrower” or “Library Reader” cards issued by EdUHK Library as well as holders of valid JULAC Library Cards are NOT required to register in advance for visiting Mong Man Wai Library on Tai Po Campus or Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Library. However, same as all EdUHK staff and students, they must fulfill vaccination requirements imposed by the University:
- Alumni Members and External Members of EdUHK Library holding valid personal “Library Borrower” or “Library Reader” cards issued by EdUHK Library (excluding Organisation Members and School Members):
Same as all EdUHK students and staff, they are required to report their vaccination status via EdUHK’s COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Record (VTR) system. They will receive an e-mail from EdUHK Library with subject “New campus access arrangement for Alumni Members and External Members of EdUHK Library” providing the necessary details. Once their vaccination status is recorded in VTR, those who fulfill vaccination requirements of the University will be able to access EdUHK campus by simply tapping their EdUHK Library Borrower or Library Reader cards at campus main entrance.
If no vaccination record is recorded in VTR, they must follow the campus access requirements stipulated in Clause 2 below for each visit.
- Organisation Members and School Members holding valid corporate “Library Borrower” or “Library Reader” cards issued by EdUHK Library and holders of valid JULAC Library Cards:
For each visit, the above cardholders must present their EdUHK Library Borrower/Library Reader cards or JULAC Library Cards at campus main entrance. They will also be required to produce a Blue QR code of Vaccine Pass via the “Leave Home Safe” mobile app and undergo on-site registration of visitor information at campus main entrance. Please note that anyone holding a Red or an Amber Code on their Vaccine Pass will be denied entry.
Other University facilities will remain closed to Library Alumni Members, Library External Members and JULAC Library Card holders. Those who do not fulfill the above requirements will not be allowed to enter EdUHK Campus.
