Hong Kong Education Bibliographic Database

For almost a decade, the Hong Kong Education Bibliographic Database (https://bibliography.lib.eduhk.hk) developed by EdUHK Library has been providing students, staff and the general public comprehensive information on research literature related to education in Hong Kong. To better meet the current needs of scholars and researchers, the Library has totally revamped the database and migrated it to a new site which supports desktop and mobile platforms with enhanced functionality.

The new database retains the tree-structured subject classification established to allow viewers to easily locate items of interest. “Recently added publications” are now displayed on the database homepage so that viewers can always browse the latest entries. The new database also offers more diversified searching and filtering functions such as “authors” and “journals” which can improve the accuracy of search results. Other new features include social media sharing, multiple export options and instant display of abstracts and previews, all of which will make searching and handling results much more user-friendly.
