Photocopying, Printing and Scanning Facilities

Both black & white, colour photocopiers and network printing facilities operated by Octopus cards are provided on MMW Library and TKOSC Library. Free of charge network scanning to PC or USB is available, insert Octopus card to activate black & white or colour scanning.

Print-N-Go (EdUHK students only)

Print-N-Go (OCIO Print Quota System) stations are also available in the Quiet Zone & PC Area of G/F MMW Library.   Users are required to sign on the network with their network accounts in order to use the network printers.  After logging into the network, users can use their OCIO Print Quota to print documents in black and white or colour.  Please refer to the webpage of  OCIO Print Quota for detail.

The Student Wi-Fi Printing service is also available for Print-N-Go. Details may refer to OCIO’s user guide.

Microform Equipment

One microform reader is available inside the Media Resources Collection, 3/F of MMW Library.  User can save the documents on your own USB flash drive, external hard-drive or even a memory card.

Copyright Warning

The Copyright Warning to Photocopier Users and relevant legal restrictions can be located at the Copyright Ordinance (Cap 528) in the government website. Library users should observe the WARNING to Users of Copying Devices and relevant legal restrictions when making photocopying/scanning of copyrighted materials.
