RFID Self-service Stations are installed on G/F of Mong Man Wai Library and Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Library. EdUHK Students, Staff and other users holding EdU Cards or EdUHK Library Borrower Cards can borrow and return EdUHK Library books quickly and easily by themselves. They may also choose to print out a receipt showing due date of borrowed book(s) or title(s) of returned book(s).
Please note that certain items cannot be borrowed /returned at Self-service Stations:
- Extreme Oversize books
- Books with accompanying materials kept at counter
- Media
- Serials current issues
- Non-EdUHK Library books, including HKALL books and Inter-library Loan books
In addition, TKO items cannot be returned via Self-service Stations at MMW Library, and vice versa.
Using the Stations
All stations are conveniently located next to a service counter. Easy-to-use touch screens and on- screen instructions are provided. Users are welcome to approach our counter staff if they experience any problems when using the Stations.
