Library Opening Arrangements (Updated on 22/6/2020)

In view of the improved COVID-19 situation, most of the library facilities have resumed normal except:

A) Facilities still closed temporarily:

  • Selected seats on all floors at Mong Man Wai Library and Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Learning Commons
  • Flexi Zone, 1/F, MMW Library

B) Creative Lab (Pilot Future Classroom), G/F, MMW Library: reserved for filming and production of online teaching materials by academic staff and students (advanced booking required)

LP/F and G/F of MMW Library have resumed 24-hour opening since Sunday, 7 June 2020. Summer opening schedule is implemented in MMW Library and TKOSC Learning Commons from Sunday, 7 June 2020 to Sunday, 16 August 2020:

Please also note that TKOSC Learning Commons will continue to be open for EdUHK students and staff only until further notice. It will be renamed as “Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Library” with effect from 1 July 2020.

For Alumni Members, External Members and JULAC Library Card holders: With effect from Wednesday, 24 June 2020 and until further notice, in addition to Alumni Members and External Members holding valid “Library Borrower” or “Library Reader” cards of EdUHK Library, holders of valid JULAC Library Cards may also register in advance for visiting Mong Man Wai Library on Tai Po Campus on a first-come-first-served basis. Specific timeslots and quotas of registration will apply. Those who have not registered successfully in advance will not be allowed to enter the campus.
