Library Opening Arrangements (Updated on 12/8/2020)
To minimize risk of infection, all library counters have implemented “call-for-service” mode under which counter staff will work at back offices and will provide on-site assistance whenever needed during counter service hours. In addition, all library counters and TKOSC Library will be closed earlier at 7 pm on weekdays, and MMW Library (except LP/F and G/F) will also be closed on Sunday until further notice.

The following library facilities are also temporarily closed for infection control:
- Selected seats on all floors at Mong Man Wai Library and Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Library
- Flexi Zone, SEN Study Rooms/Faculty Reading Rooms and all Group Discussion Rooms, 1/F, MMW Library
- Creative Lab (Pilot Future Classroom), G/F, MMW Library: reserved for filming and production of online teaching materials by academic staff and students (advanced booking required)
- The Lounge, G/F, MMW Library
- EI Hub, LP/F, MMW Library

For Alumni Members, External Members and JULAC Library Card holders: To minimize the risk of infection, Alumni Members and External Members holding valid “Library Borrower” or “Library Reader” cards of EdUHK Library as well as holders of valid JULAC Library Cards planning to visit Mong Man Wai Library on Tai Po Campus must register in advance.
