Borrowing Library Books with Mobile Phones

Further to the service enhancements and facility upgrades announced earlier in June 2023, the Library is pleased to introduce another new initiative: the first mobile application among all local university libraries which will allow EdUHK Library users to borrow library books instantly by themselves anywhere inside the Library in just a few simple steps:

1. Launch “EdUHK Library” mobile app on your mobile phone
2. Login to “MyLibrary”
3. Tap “Mobile Borrowing”
4. Tap “Scan Item”
5. Scan the EdUHK LIBRARY barcode of the book
6. After scanning all the books that you would like to borrow, tap “Borrow Items”
7. Done! The books are on loan to you
