1. 老鼠甲甴的天空。 2.洗手間厕纸滿地,從來沒見過清潔女工拖地,從不清潔洗手盆,每次都是事事旦旦的只清理地面的厕纸後就走了,向圖書館職員投訴,都只是女工清潔一下又走了。大學圖書館是這個水平的嗎??? | Comments noted and have been conveyed to Estates Office for follow up. 太多人book了房和桌都不去,每次想book的時候又full了,沒有獎懲制度這樣的情況會一直氾濫 | Comments noted. A booking session will be cancelled automatically by the system if a user failed to check-in within the compulsory check-in period. We also encourage users to check-out and release the session if they finish using it before the session ends. |

group discussion必须多人预定不合理 | Before the multiple-user login requirement was implemented, there were often abusive use of the Group Discussion Rooms with the rooms being occupied by one or two people. Therefore we have changed the policy and the booking must be made for the required minimum number of users for all facilities intended for group discussion. It is also deemed to be fair for use of discussion facilities to be counted towards the user's booking quota and help to further reduce abusive use of valuable library resources. |
Would be great if every booking session lasts for one hour instead of two hours. | Comments noted. Based on our statistics, the total number of HKALL and Inter Library Loans successfully requested and delivered for EdUHK staff and students have significantly increased after the new system was implemented in Jan 2024. Publishing in open access journal should be adopted and strongly demands for students and academics. Need more space and specific study room for phd student | As at May 2025, Library has signed Transformative Agreements with 9 publishers (Association for Computing Machinery, Cambridge University Press, De Gruyter, Elsevier, IEEE, John Benjamins, Oxford University Press, Springer Nature and Wiley) providing open access publishing opportunities for EdUHK researchers. Please check https://libguides.eduhk.hk/openaccess and https://libguides.eduhk.hk/TransformativeAgreement for further information or contact us directly for assistance if needed. In order to optimize utilization of limited space and facilities, we cannot assign a study area dedicated for doctoral students only. Meanwhile, postgraduate students may reserve the SEN Study Rooms/Faculty Reading Rooms (https://www.lib.eduhk.hk/rooms-spaces/sen-study-rooms-faculty-reading-rooms) and make use of the priority arrangement for postgraduate students for booking the new Study Booths and Study Carrels on 4/F. |
Sign transformative agreement with Taylor & Francis, expand quota with Springer Nature | We would like to point out that all transformative agreements do not come for free. Library must pay additional costs and thus careful and lengthy negotiations are inevitable, and not always successful. We are already negotiating with pubishers for new TAs in 2026 but we cannot disclose at this stage due to confidentiality. |

閘口成日入唔到,圓形counter 職員經常視而不見,就算見到都話我企太前要等唔知幾多秒再試,好唔合理好唔方便 | Since the entrance gate is designed to prevent more than one person entering the gate with one access card, an error will be triggered if it detects someone entering the sensoring zone before a access card is tapped. Under such scenario, access for this specific card will be temporarily disabled for a short period of time. Can the school library remind students not to place their personal belongings in available seats during rush hour (i.e., afternoons on weekdays or the exam week)?
