| I love the service of borrowing books from other libraries but can the loan period be longer? | For most EdUHK staff and students, they can already keep a book with a loan period of 30 days or more for an unlimited period as long as they maintain their EdUHK status and nobody else request for this particular book. | I once borrowed about 9-10 books using my mobile phone. When I exited the alarm beeped. It turned out that some of the books were not checked out. I know I scanned all the books, so I wonder if there was a limit on the number of books you can scan at one time? I scanned all the books and only clicked "check out" once at the end. If there is a limit, e.g. we should click "check out" every 5 books etc., could that be made more clear ? | For mobile borrowing, the app allows users to scan up to 5 books at a time. If users try to scan more than 5, the app will only display the first 5 items, and any further items will not appear in the list for checkout. To borrow the remaining items, users need to tap “Borrow Items” to finish the first checkout, and then start another transaction to scan and borrow the next set (up to 5 books). |
