I appreciate the space of the discussion booth, however, due to some grey area in the instruction of using the space, I had a very bad experience of using it. Two students abused the rules and asked me to leave the discussion booth for them to use it instead. It was terrible and sad. 圖書館G/F二十四小時開放，設施使用量大，較大機會變得污糟，需要清潔，尤其是廁所和坐椅。我留意到G/F廁所地下經常有尿跡，還有A2列印機附近有坐椅有污跡或損壞，需要定期深層清潔或更換。	We would like to emphaise that high usage does not necessarily entail poorer hygience, as far as all users exercise care and be considerate of others when using the public facilities. We appreciate the additonal support by Estates Office and the hardworking of the cleaners who start cleanning up all public areas from 7 am every morning. On the other hand, we are disappointed with the selfishness of individual users who showed no consideration for others by dumping garbages into the toilets or messing up the areas including sinks and floors during their visits. We will continue to work closely with Estates Office to monitor and maintain cleanliness in the Library premises but library users’ cooperation in keeping library space and facilities clean and tidy is of utmost importance.

大埔圖書館G寧靜區內個別電腦被抽走了基本打中文字的倉頡及速成法(找不到重新安裝)	Cangjie and Quick input methods are installed on all Library public PC's. Please restart the PC to restore the normal setting or seek assistance from Library staff if needed.
It is suggested that more study seats equipped with dual monitors be provided in the library.	34-inch ultrawide 21:9 monitors have been installed on all PCs on 2/F, which support side-by-side viewing of multiple applications while occupying less desk space than dual-monitor setups.
I would like to suggest that the library increase the number of iMAC computers available for student use. Currently, there are very few iMAC, making it difficult to reserve one when needed. I hope the library can consider adding more to better support students’ academic work.	Currently 12 iMac computers have been set up at Quiet Zone on G/F and 8 Mac Studio workstations at Media Producation Lab on 3/F. They are all available for online booking.
The PCs in media production stations, specifically with the Windows system, should be upgraded with more powerful chips. Some cannot even use wired headset.	Comment noted. Four new Window PCs will be ordered to replace the existing ones.

The creative arts room is often booked completely, all day, by some non-arts client, or other classes that are not related to arts (such as maths). In addition, the room's AC is very loud and there seems to be no way to turn it down. Further, the actual technologies and materials (music stands, microphones) seem to be locked and there is no information in the room about how to obtain access. In short, the room seems unusable to those for whom it is ostensibly designed. I wish it were not so.	All Future Cassrooms, including Creative Arts Room, can be booked by academic staff for teaching and classes. Please make reservation in advance using the iBooking system. As noted in the popup information page in iBooking, staff members should borrow the keys from the Services Counter for using the equipment and facilities before using the Future Classrooms. While more warning signs have been posted, users are reminded that it remains their sole responsibility to take care of their personal belongings and deposit their belongings in the Octopus-operated self-service locker system on the G/F (free for the first four hours). 3. Users’ cooperation and consideration for others in keeping library spaces and facilities clean and tidy is essential. To further enhance hygiene and ensure a pleasant environment for all, Estates Office and Library have increased the cleaning frequency of the toilets.

饮水机的水不够热	The hot water is kept at about 60°C. A higher temperature is not recommended for the prevention of accidents and injuries.
為何在午夜起，所有飲水機會停用，這對使用者在凌晨要跑到外邊盛水大感不方便，請跟進，謝謝	We have checked with Estates Office and found out that the dispensers were shut off daily from 00:00 to 07:00 in order to prevent accidentally leaking. We have already requesteed EO to turn it on 7 x 24 hours for 1/F to 4/F during the examination period.

The G/F lounge can use warmer lighting. The lighting it a bit too blue. The G/F lounge is also a bit too cold. Many of us need to wear a jacket just to stay there for some time. The tables and sofas on the ground floor are at uncomfortable heights, and the newly added tables wobble easily and are a bit small. I still prefer the previous ones. On the fourth floor, every table now has a computer, but I liked it better without them, just like before. Nowadays, almost everyone has their own computer, so having computers on the tables feels a bit redundant.	Comment noted. Custom-made notebook holders have been installed at all Study Booths and Study Carrels on 4/F so that users will have ample usable desktop space. Users may also consider to use the study tables without computers on 2/F and 3/F.

Is it possible to move the G/F recliner rest area to a quiet area? Because it's just too noisy to sleep in the sleep lounge.	The Lounge is designed for rest and discussion, not solely for sleeping. The quiet zone is designated for quiet study purposes. Currently, there is no additional space in the library to set up a dedicated quiet sleeping zone.

The suggested professional scanner, however, is an expensive model designed for mass archival scanning and isn’t a suitable option.

Adding privacy films could reduce visibility, potentially impacting monitoring and emergency response. Large trash bins are already placed in the G/F female washroom. Note that bins without lids are less hygienic. Extending opening hours on different floors will be considered during our regular reviews, based on actual usage and user needs.
