1樓成層樓都係,行到入去好大陣味Air purifiers have been installed and more units will be added if needed, carpet and stained chairs are regularly cleaned to eliminate the odor. The Library will continue to work closely with Estates Office to improve the situation, including modification of ceiling ventilation ducts on 1/F.
The discussion area of 2nd floor always smell bad.

Maybe the air and the smell can be cleaned in floor1 cause every time I walk in just smell not good.

Please contact counter staff for reporting of damaged furniture or assistance with operation of photocopier.

Users are advised to use the laminating machine provided by OCIO at the PC area next to OCIO Computer Room at Learning Commons on LP/F of Block C.
圖書館空調太冷,需要調高一點溫度Air temperature and quality are regularly monitored by Estates Office. Users are also welcome to report any specific problems to counter staff for immediate follow up.
Air conditioning on G/F is always cold in summer, the temperature should be adjusted to body temperature
服務差,難以相信圖書館館員聽不懂、說不了廣東話,可怕⋯⋯All library staff are able to communicate effectively with colleagues and students in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua) and English.

列印機 (PQ2 & 1) 經常缺紙,尤其在職員值班前。此外,在G/F入口旁printNgo,某些電腦的列印設定預設為A3紙,非常用紙張大小,同學常常因錯誤列印而造成大量浪費。All Print-N-Go printers and workstations are provided and operated by OCIO. Library staff will always refill the paper trays before counter closes at night / evening. But since Print-N-Go printers set up inside the Library are located on G/F which is open 24 x 7, sometimes they will still run out of paper during peak seasons. Users may consider to use PQ3 or Print-N-Go printing facilities on LP/F if needed.

OCIO has recently upgraded Print-N-Go computers and the problem of inconsistent default paper selection has been resolved.
在四樓的研修間,台式電腦的鍵盤和鼠標會產生較大噪音,相較於手提電腦的鍵盤。Comments noted and we will try sourcing quiet keyboards and mices which can also be firmly secured on table tops.
圖書館的keyword的按鍵聲都很大,能否換靜音鍵盤,因為有時自己打字都怕騷擾同學溫習,或者是別人不斷打字的聲音,也會影響同學溫習。另外,4/F部分自修間是沒有耳筒/耳筒太舊,能更換新的耳筒嗎? 謝謝你們:)Comments noted and we will try sourcing quiet keyboards and mices which can also be firmly secured on table tops.

次次3D printing, laser cut服務都會出錯,成日出現溝通問題,唔知點樣溝通先唔會出錯
The cleaning workers and security guards often talks loudly in the library, before library staff are back. Also, students speak loudly in library and are not stopped by the library staff even the staff are present. During staff's off hours, it is often to see students play music in the library or leave the alarm ringing for a long time. Sometimes the staff are not handling the issues even they are present.

晚黑10點先閉館,希望啲保安唔好9:45冇耐啱嚮鐘冇耐就搏命催。10點個鐘嚮咗,真閉館嗰刻再清場都唔遲Comments noted with thanks. A new closing procedure has been implemented since 29 May 2024 and security guards will no longer start evacuating library users before closing time.

One of the library staff create noise while sorting the books and knocks the books hard on the shelf. Please be more kind with books and make library quieter place. Many thanks.
More pickup at Kowloon tongConsidering cost-effectiveness and the number of students attending classes at Kowloon Tong Satellite Study Centre, there is no plan to provide pick up service there. Users may consider to pick up their books at Tseung Kwan O Study Centre or North Point Study Centre.
put some more tables at Lounge spaceDue to physical space limitation, it is infeasible to set up more tables at the Lounge. Otherwise, there will not be enough space for people movement.

骯髒,希望常清潔設施,如每隔3小時清潔一次Our cleaners are working very hard to clean up all public areas beginning at 7 am every morning. The Library will continue to work closely with Estates Office to monitor and maintain cleanliness in the Library premises. But library users’ cooperation in keeping library space clean and tidy is of utmost importance.
Chairs and desks at computer stations are always dirty with hairs and dust. Monitors and keyboards should be cleaned periodically

The quiet zones sometimes are not satisfied. Some people usually whisper but nobody stop them. It’s annoying.

I hope that the 24hour space in ground floor can be more quite. Sometimes, we did encountered students discussing things loudly.

If I go to another country Maybe is the service and environment very biggest in the Tai Po
the G/F library, VR-AR workstation area would need urgent pest control as there are mouses clawing arround consistently upon above this area ceiling.Comments noted and have been conveyed to Estates Office for follow up.
The toliet at G/F is extremely dirty. The soap is out of service for monthsssssss but no refills.
3/F media production lab area has a strange smell which hits you when you walk into the area, please investigate
pest control is urgently need on the library site, especially, the G-floor, there are mouse above the ceiling which makes the whole library very noisy.
Good to have computers in high operation speed.

The toilet water pressure is weak and the washing basin is often clogged. There's odor in washroom on 1/F.
